What is TeenHang?
TeenHang is a 100% free social network designed for those between the ages of 13 and 19 years of age. You can sign up, verify your email address and begin making and contacting new friends in just seconds.
When was TeenHang founded?
TeenHang.com was founded on April 11th 2025. We're still fairly new but we have high aspirations for this communuty, as we believe there is nothing like us tailored to the specific demographic. We believe a non-profit social community for teenagers with a focus on a fun, safe experience with privacy and security also is long overdue.
Why is TeenHang becoming so successful?
TeenHang has an easy to use interface. We believe you should spend more time connecting and making new friends than learning how our website works. We use the network effect to provide you the opportunity to meet people your age and talk about similar interests in their lives.
What are the age requirements for joining TeenHang?
To join TeenHang, you need to be between the ages of 13 and 19. Any accounts we suspect have been created by those who aren't between these ages will have their accounts terminated effective immediately.
How do I sign up?
If you direct yourself to our welcoming homepage, you will find a link in which to set up your account. You may also use our Sign In with service. This is a one-click login servive using an existing social media account.
Why is my year of birth not available during sign up?
We only allow people who are between the ages of 13 and 19. If your year of birth is not available when we ask for your date of birth, then you're not eligible to join TeenHang.
I'm under 13 or over 19 years old. Why am I ineligible to join?
We comply with the Childrens Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). Thereby, allowing people under the age of 13 to join Teen Hang is strictly prohibited. We implore you to wait until your 13th birthday to join. At the age of 19 you are an adult and allowing adults to join our community which mostly consists of children isnt allowed. At 19, there will be other age-appropriate communities for you to join.
What can I do on TeenHang?
Like most social networks we offer you the opportunity to create and edit a profile. Select what information you'd like to provide. Post photos and videos and express yourself. You can also make new friends and share experiences.
Can other users see my information?
Every user has the opportunity to disclose or not disclose information about themselves to create a profile. They also have the option to accept or reject a friend request. When a user posts something, they have the opportunity to share that with their friends only or to the entire TeenHang community. We also implement privacy and security features, which can be found in Settings & Privacy.
Is TeenHang a dating website?
While can never stop people from meeting up in the real world and developing eventual relationships, TeenHang is an online social community and not a dating website.
Is TeenHang safe to use?
From a technological aspect, we have protocols in place to protect user safety and privacy. We've invested in content delivery networks (CDNs), firewalls and site-wide encryption where possible. This ensures that all our users have an optimal experience using our platform.
Why is TeenHang's website design very familar?
From the moment you access our homepage, you'll realise it is somehow familar to existing social networking websites on the Internet currently. We want our users to spend more time connecting with our other users on the platform, rather than learning how our website works.
Why is there no chat rooms on TeenHang?
Chat rooms have become notorious places for people to obscure themselves and create fake identities. To protect our users, we have chosen not to include chat rooms on our platform.
Will TeenHang sell my data?
We will never be in the business of selling your own personal data to third-party data brokers.
Does TeenHang profit from this website?
No. TeenHang is a 100% non-profit social networking website. All website costs are paid for by the TeenHang owner.
Privacy and Security
How will TeenHang protect my safety?
TeenHang is designed to protect your safety. Users are required to register, verify their email address and recieve approvals from other users in order to reciprocate information regarding themselves via their profiles. We have also implemented extensive privacy controls when posting and on the Settings & Privacy page.
What is Two-Factor Authentication?
When you log into your account, you will be prompted to provide a unique code, which you will receive via your registered email address. You will then have to enter that code to log to your account. This is an extra layer of security to ensure you and only you have access to your TeenHang account. You can turn it off in Settings & Privacy, but we recommend that you keep it turned on.
If I post content that is inappropriate, what will happen?
Posting any inappropriate content will result in possible account banning or immediate termination of your account. We use APIs to immediately obscure such content after it is posted.
I cannot locate my year of birth on sign up. Why?
Subsequent to signing up, we will ask for your date of birth to verify your age. If the year of your birth isnt available, this qualifies as you either being too young or old to join.
I have received a suspicious email.
Phishing is an all too familar technique today. Phishers create fake emails that look familar to the genuine ones you recieve. They will point you to a fake website so that you may enter your login credentials. If you've received such an email, always check the sender's email address for authenticity.
Accounts
What is Sign in with..?
Rather than fill out our sign in form, you can simply click on one of our Sign In buttons on our homepage, using an existing social media account. If you already have an account with us, you can connect your existing social media accounts for a quick and easy way to log into your TeenHang account. Go to Settings & Privacy and select Linked Accounts. Don't worry, we don't access any personal or sensitive information.
What is the upload limit for photos and videos?
When it comes to posting videos and photos, we have set a limit of 120MB. This allows content to load quicker, thereby decreasing loading times and reduces stresses on our server. If you upload something that exceeds 120MB, you will be notified and your upload will stop.
I'm having trouble verifying my email address. What shall I do?
If you have not received your confirmation email, first check your spam folders. If you've still not received a confirmation email, please let us know.
I have forgotten my password.
On our homepage, there is a link in which to reset your account password.
How do I report/block a user?
Locate the profile you wish to report. Select the ellipsis button and select Report user. if you wish to block that person, follow the previous steps and select Block user. This will effective immediately allow you cease contact with that person.
How do I update my profile and cover photos?
To update your profile and cover photos, go to your profile and locate the relevant icons next to them. They will allow you to upload, replace, delete and crop.
Someone is stealing my photos.
Block and/or report this person and contact us immediately. We will need tangible evidence to support your claim in the form of a screenshot(s).
Why have you deleted/banned my account?
If you have violated our terms or you've become a nuisance to our users, we can terminate your account without consent, warning. We are not at liberty to contact you nor provide you an explanation.
Am I required to provide all profile information?
The only information we need from you is the relevant information to create your account. Most information we ask from you to create a profile is optional.
How do I delete my account?
Go to Settings & Privacy, select Delete Accounts and provide your account password. This will remove your profile and account from our system. This is irreversible. Your uploaded content, such as your photos and videos, will remain on our server, but not publically available to others.
Do you require a moderator?
Despite having the ability to hire moderators to share the burden on our owner, we do so with great reluctance, given the time, energy and trust needed to train and allow someone to be a moderator.
I'm being randomly logged out. Why is this?
This could be an issue on our end, or quite possibly an issue on yours. Clearing your browser cache and cookies will log you out. Not only on our website but others you may visit and login frequently.
Miscellaneous
Which web browser should I use?
Any modern browser will do. Choosing a modern browser also means that you're less likely to be subjected to harmful software that could infect your device. The two most popular are Google Chrome and Apple Safari.
How do I contact TeenHang?
Unfortunately, we do not have a postal address nor a phone number in which to contact us. However, we are contactable using our email address — help@teenhang.com. We'll endeavour to respond to your enquiry as soon as possible. You can also contact us on our social media pages.
Is TeenHang available on social media?
Please like and follow us on the following platforms; Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and X (formerly Twitter). Please disregard any websites/apps with the same or similar names. That's not us.
Does TeenHang provide a language translator?
No. We could, but translating our website pages into various languages would simply take up too much time. Our platform is mostly English-speaking. If English is not a second language to you, you are free to use Google Translate or similar technologies that translate website pages.
Does TeenHang have a smartphone app?
No, but if our community becomes popular, we may consider it.
Something isnt working properly.
